I have changed the render settings, and tried both with software only and with CUDA. I have also tried changing audio settings though some of the MP4 files come from a drone and have no audio. If you re-encode the video in another program then import the new video then that will usually work but as I said, the video file is fine on another computer with Adobe Premiere Pro.
So, anyone else encountered this and have a solution? It seems to be very specific to the computer. It is really annoying having to reencode a video in another program when it works just fine on alternate test setup.
